I have had the honor of working with some fantastic organizations in my career. I want to say that I am a proud husband and father. I enjoy spending time with my family and looking forward to our memorable vacations. “You don’t choose your family. They are God’s gift to you, as you are to them” (Desmond Tutu). My career journey has ranged from an Army veteran, licensed barber, Case Manager, and Site Coordinator for a Non-profit organization called Communities in Schools, CPS Investigator, Kinship Specialist with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Behavioral Health Coordinator and current Transition Coordinator with Superior Health Plan owned by the Centene Corporation. Centene is ranked as number 66 in 2017 for being on the Fortune 500 list of largest corporations by revenue (Google.com). Superior is a subsidiary of Centene Corporation and is the exclusive provider of STAR Health and works with the State of Texas Health and Human Service Commission providing STAR (Medicaid) services, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), CHIP Perinatal Care and STAR PLUS and STAR Health (Superiorhealthplan.com).
