Projects: Designed and built a voice recognition enabled cooler. The cooler was able to understand several commands and respond with the appropriate response; such as cooling, heating, stating the temperature, etc. Both the temperature sensor and LCD communicated with the central micro-controller using RS232. Programmed a manufacturing robot to perform required actions, motions, and locate key points. Upgraded a standard store bought remote control car with line tracking and cruise control. The line tracking was implemented with infrared receivers and a PIC processor. The cruise control was analog PID circuit. Programed a pre-existing robot rover to use infrared sensors for line tracking and a set of hyper sonic emitters and detectors for collision detection. Programed a micro controller to receive signal form a single chip GPS receiver, track input form a simple set of controls, and display output on a LCD.
