With over a decade in the educational sector, my role as Manager at Durham College centers on enhancing student success by strategically managing financial aid programs. Committed to making education accessible, I align my efforts with the college's mission, fostering an environment where financial barriers are minimized. My competencies in office administration and financial aid management contribute to the college's culture, where diverse perspectives and experiences are pivotal. Since May 2022, I have collaborated with the Director to oversee the Student Awards Program, ensuring the efficient promotion, application, and distribution of scholarships and financial aid. This role has honed my skills in managing both need and merit-based awards, maximizing support for students and bolstering recruitment and retention. My administrative expertise has been instrumental in administering these programs, which are critical to removing economic obstacles for our students.
