About Cesar Perez

I'm an individual whose passion lies in the greater good. I work well on my own, but I am also able to assume whatever role is needed to achieve success in a team environment. I seek to learn as much in as many fields as possible, but mostly I have a passion for science and technology, particularly in their application towards making this world a better place.I grew up as a bilingual speaker of both Spanish and English, in the US-Mexico border. My situation has given me a distinct perspective on two cultures.My experience, passion and skills have led me to my current position, where my current duties at work are to translate, create and adapt videogame content from English to Spanish for the world's most respected and largest videogame company, Nintendo. This involves mainly the translation of menu items, description of game mechanics, story and dialogue (written and voiced). Additionally, I participate in the creation of new terms and content that's specific for a Hispanic audience in the Americas.It is my privilege to be a part of one of the industry's best localization departments. To work in a fun, yet challenging environment, where high quality results are obtained while experiencing heavy workload on an ongoing basis. Collaborating in a globalized work environment where work flows through Japan and Europe. But most importantly, I enjoy contributing to the development of products that put smiles on people's faces. In my position, I am often asked to support efforts by other departments within Nintendo of America Inc. This means that I have the opportunity to localize the content of web pages, marketing materials (such as press releases), TV/Radio/Web/Print advertisement, hardware manuals, packaging materials, communications, social media posts, and more.I look forward to the challenges that await me.(The content expressed here reflects my views, which are not necessarily those of my employer.)
