I’ve 20 years’ experience in the Construction industry. As a Senior Project leader, I am accustomed to managing multi-disciplinary teams by leveraging a blend of infrastructure delivery competencies aimed at forging mutually beneficial relationships with project stakeholders in support of long-term collaborative working arrangements. Presently client-side and as a member of the Owner’s Engineering Team, I have provided commercial services, claims management, contract management, and effective project control in support of the delivery of the civil works, Control & Instrumentation and Electrical packages associated with the construction and commissioning of a dry-cooled, coal-fired, baseload power-generating plant with a total 4800MW installed capacity.A five-year collaboration with a Rail Contractor enabled me to play a lead role in establishing and tracking commercial performance measures of sub-projects, within the Transplant Team, responsible for the delivery of the Ballast Track renewals, Drainage and Points and Crossing works. An appointment with a Highway Maintenance Contractor served to further entrench my experience within the Infrastructure Sector providing the requisite exposure to client valuations and subcontractor management at a fundamental level.
