About Chad Baker

I am an avid outdoorsman and culinary professional dedicated to connecting food systems with environmental stewardship and making nature accessible to all communities. With a diverse background blending management, education, and agriculture, I specialize in creating programs that bridge the gap between the farm and the table. My experience includes coordinating youth programs in the Pacific Northwest and serving as a Culinary Arts Instructor and Managing Chef. In these roles, I have leveraged my skills to educate others on sustainable food practices while managing complex operations. I am currently a Produce Safety Alliance Fellow with Cornell University and hold a Certified Sustainable Vegetable Farmer credential from K-State University, alongside an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts.Outside of work, you can find me immersing myself in the outdoors—fishing, growing food, and hunting with my family, friends, and my dog, MayBelle.
