I am a writer, editor, and experienced project manager from Melbourne Australia. I constantly look for new ways to expand my skill base and have an expertise in education, social welfare, psychology, aged care, travel and real estate. I have worked in diverse roles, which gives me the adaptability and experience to meet and exceed my clients' expectations with both professional and creative flair. I create high-quality work and never miss deadlines. Currently, I work as the Publishing Manager at Visible Ink Anthology, where I manage a team of twenty-two people. As the sole administrator I keep all members of staff on task and have control of the publication process from briefing to submissions to design and layout, to fundraising, events, and grant submissions. I have also interned in multiple areas of the publishing industry, which ensures I have a strong network and maintain a wide skill set to meet client's needs and keep abreast of the state of the industry. I am a friendly but goal-focussed person, comfortable in both management and team positions. I enjoy bringing creativity and drive into my work environment and both encouraging, mentoring and motivating other staff towards achieving their best. Having degrees in professional writing, editing, creative writing and English literary theory means I am on top of trends, both past and present, in the publishing industry and am able to write and edit work tailored to the specific needs and interest areas of my clients.
