About Chantelle Herbst

A little bit about me: After matriculating in 2005, I did not have the opportunity to go and study. I started work at NECSA (Nuclear Energy Corporation of South Africa), as a data capturer in the Medical Records Department, and quickly worked my way up to managing the Behavior Based Safety for 5 of the facilities on site, including their training, reporting, statistics and participation. I worked in several applications and also Managed the site Drive Safe Campaign. My personal circumstances changed however and at the age of 29 I started at Madge Wallace College for Skincare and Body Therapy. From there I went on to complete my nail education at Young Nails.I opened my own salon from home in 2017.Although I still love nails and the creativity I get to express, I have realized that I miss corporate work. I have a very analytical side to me and statistics and data is something that I am very good at.I am looking to get back into corporate life and will keep my love for nails as a hobby. I think that the time I put in to my studies and owning my own business has taught me immeasurable lessons and life skills that may be beneficial to any corporate environment.
