About Char Bailey

With over a decade of experience in coaching, facilitation, and inclusion, I am the Director of People at Birmingham Pride, the UK's largest two-day LGBTQ+ festival. As a certified NLP practitioner and a peak performance coach, I lead the human resources and diversity initiatives for the organization, empowering individuals and teams to achieve their full potential and embrace their diverse intersections. I am also passionate about mental health and autism advocacy, as a queer, autistic, woman of colour who has overcome many challenges and barriers. I serve as the co-chair of the board for Neurodiversity in Business, a social enterprise that supports neurodiverse talent and employers. I also co-host an award-winning podcast and radio show, Qmmunity, and write for DIVA group, the leading media platform for LGBTQ+ women and non-binary people. Additionally, I facilitate workshops in schools and businesses, teaching mindfulness, stress management, self-awareness, confidence, and resilience. I believe in the power of education, kindness, and compassion, and I strive to make a positive impact in the world.
