Using office machines, data entry, and accounting; it was 8 years in corporate customer service and Boston office work that gave me skills to negotiate 1200+ clients to purchase over $1.2 million in fine art oils. When budgets tightened, people avoided galleries. I took to the road doing national juried shows. Unlike competitors, I maintained the gallery connections that impressed buyers. Allison Holdaway, VP at Aetna, was impressed with my "marketing, accounting, project management, client collaboration on custom works of art, and flawless customer service." I kept collectors engaged, publicizing 96 newsletters, 8 ads, 2 brochures, & 23 postcards. In European history class at UNH, where I graduated summa cum laude, the teacher asked if life was working or consuming. I was the only one who raised his hand for working, seeing successful people avoiding retirement. I was invited to top-ten national shows in Miami, Chicago, and Houston. I exhibited in 9 galleries, and was accepted to the Copley Society of Art in Boston and The Salmagundi Club in New York City. Accomplishing this took 700 applications and organizing travel & sales tax for 20 states At Bob's Stores Warehouse, when people groaned over inventory, I told them "this is our chance to take control and find items quickly where they belong." They made me team leader, I trained and assigned inventory tasks to 60 employees. Now I'm a part-time job candidate for administrative assisting, after 830 AM completion of work as Part-Time Hub Supervisor, Sunrise Shift, Bradley International (BDL.) For 15 years I've used Microsoft Excel & Word, proofreading, Microsoft Outlook, Trello, Facebook Groups, web design, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator.
