Started off as a hematology nurse for several years and started in 2023 a new function of managing the quality system for the stem cell transplant program according to the JACIE standards. I enjoy being a guest speaker on congresses. In 2022 I spoke for the VVRO and Pfizer about the preservation techniques when it comes to fertility preservation for female patients with a hematologic disease. In 2023 we also started a new program within our hematology ward: the introduction of CAR-T cells. The fact that there is so much movement and progress of new treatment possibilities, makes the hematologic setting so interesting for me. It’s bringing my practical experience to a whole other level. Quality and data management are key for essential care. So we keep on going and improving!
