Hello, Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile which will hopefully give you an idea of what I do. Having qualified as a solicitor in May 2015 year my role at Collingwood Legal has changed in some ways but it remains the place I enjoy working with a supportive, friendly team focused on providing our clients with expert employment law and HR advice. As a solicitor in the team at Collingwood Legal I have worked closely with both business clients and individuals to manage their employment issues. I regularly advise individuals in relation to their employment and workplace issues, as well as on settlement agreements where their employment is coming to an end. I also provide external support to businesses managing internal procedures from disciplinary and grievance to performance management and redundancy. By providing external support we aim to alleviate pressure and offer peace of mind to managers, HR and business owners on employee management issues. During my time with Collingwood I have also supported and conducted various Employment Tribunal, County and High Court proceedings. I can offer businesses value by: • preparing contracts, refining workplace policies and procedures • offering support and guidance in managing a range of internal issues including disciplinary, grievance and sickness absence • advice in respect of legal proceedings; and • training delivery. I can also help individuals with advice on raising workplace concerns, support in respect of disciplinary or other action, and advise on prospects of legal action.
