Successfully defending tribunal claims including allegations of discrimination on the grounds of race, sex and age for a major university. Advising on and project managing the restructuring and relocation of a large engineering business involving a number of group companies and a workforce of over 400 employees without any claims for unfair dismissal or breach of contract being lodged - the project involved changing terms and conditions of employment for the whole workforce. Advising on collective consultation requirements in restructuring, redundancy and TUPE situations. Successfully defending a multi party TUPE action with a potential financial liability of over £1 million involving the outsourcing of logistics, warehousing and transport activities and services for a major national retail organisation.
