Extensive experience in both public and private sectors; leading high stakes projects and engaging with a range of stakeholders to achieve intended outcomes. Demonstrable delivery, analytical and communication skills.Currently leading on the project management of the Bus Services (Wales) Bill for Welsh Government.Over 15 years of experience in Education and Qualifications Management. At IfATE, worked to develop and implement education policy for the Post 16 qualifications review. Worked in Regulation from 2015 to 2021; at the Office for Students, focussed on a number of Higher Education projects, including specialised areas of allied health, and provider management. This work involved policy implementation, and stakeholder and project management. Managed a small team for the Welsh regulator, Qualifications Wales, to lead the approval of a range of qualifications, working closely with a number of stakeholders and specialising in quality assurance and qualification development. Extensive experience of working for awarding bodies, developing and delivering English qualifications. This includes the development of eAssessments for the IB Middle Years Language and literature course, across eight languages. Developed Key Stage 3 National Curriculum Tests and GCSE English qualifications for Pearson Edexcel and OCR.
