About Chase Butner

I recently graduated from The Citadel – Military College of South Carolina with a degree in Criminal Justice. During my four years of training at the Citadel, I was afforded many opportunities to fine-tune my skills in problem-solving, decision-making, organization, responsibility, respect for authority and team motivation. I had increasing levels of responsibility to include serving on the Honor Committee, which is one of the highest forms of leadership recognition. I also developed my cadet leadership role by serving as Squad Sergeant for my Company. In addition, I had the opportunity to earn a rugby scholarship and played one year of football. Despite the rigors of a very unique college experience such as this, I excelled and earned Dean’s List and Gold Star’s for my academic performance. During my summer breaks, and currently, I worked at Gulf Beach Weddings in the role of on-site destination wedding coordinator located on the Gulf Coast. I take great pride in my work and strive every day to exceed our clients’ expectations. My duties entail being responsible for the on-site coordination and execution of beach weddings to include attention to detail, preparing the wedding site according to client’s selection, oversee and organize the ceremony, solve for any last minute inclement weather issues by finding and securing an alternate indoor venue, as well as any potential conflict resolution…. all the while making the bride/groom, family, and guests feel very important and well taken care of on their special day.
