About Chera C.

As a CTE Teacher at Union County Public Schools, I have been empowering students with practical skills and knowledge in various fields from 2006-2009, and again from 2018 to the present. I am also the PRMS 2024-2025 CTE Teacher of the Year, a recognition that motivates me to continue delivering high-quality education. My calm but dedicated disposition allows me to work with others respectfully and collaboratively, even under pressure. I bring a tenacious spirit to everything I do—whether that’s advocating for students, tackling complex problems, or finding innovative ways to strengthen school culture. These attributes—tenacity, consistency, and calm leadership—position me to be an effective advocate for school-community partnerships that genuinely benefit students. In addition to my teaching role, I am a small business owner with over 13 years of experience in creating unique custom gifts using my creativity and Silhouette Software. I manage all aspects of the business, from product design to marketing, and consult with clients to understand their needs and preferences. I also leverage my skills in customer interaction and interpersonal communication to establish and maintain productive relationships with clients and vendors. My goal is to combine my passion for education and entrepreneurship to create positive impacts in my community.
