About Cheryl Carter

I like to hit the ground running every morning in order to execute the day's objectives with tenacity. In addition to accomplishing my daily tasks, I find it gratifying to help customers find just what they are looking for! Do your team members hit the ground running every day? Are they focused on the mission at hand? Then I'll fit right in! If they aren't, then I can lead by example and coach them up.I spent the first half of my career in technology and product management, which helped to fine-tune my organizational and analytical skills. However, it wasn't until I began working in retail and sales that I was finally able to indulge my creativity and interests in fashion, jewelry and cosmetics. Engaging both my business-sense and my creative interests allowed my brain to fire on all cylinders!I truly enjoy the business side of the retail landscape; inventory control, sales management, profit control, margins, etc. However, in addition to this aspect, the business presents so much more.merchandising, promotional planning, strategic marketing, customer service, employee relations, coaching, employee development. Every day brings something new and challenging! I'm always up for new discussions, learning new things and broadening my horizons, as well as any new professional acquaintances that may be mutually beneficial.
