I have returned to the workforce to join a talented group of professionals who are reimagining the experience at Powder Mountain. I will be focusing my efforts on project delivery related to Applications and Cloud within the organization. Bringing together stakeholders both within and outside the company to elevate the experience offered at Powder Mountain. Older Updates: After running my IT Services Company, Technology Helpers for over 15 years I merged it with Velonex IT to bring our clients and staff more resources and new vision. I still assist with Business Development and Sales activities at Velonex on a part time basis. My other interests and passions still include: 1) Slap Bag, a bike bag product company that I started and kickstarted over 4 years ago. We sell direct to our customers via our website Fat Tire Narnia: Mountain bike trip travel company. We have one trip currently that is a 4n/5d trip that takes riders from Eldora, CO up and over the Continental Divide into Winter Park, CO. While in Winter Park the riders are treated to my favorite cross-country single-track mountain biking all while finishing up with some rest and relaxation at our favorite food and watering holes. Huffing it not roughing it pretty much sums it up. 3) Pow Pow Donuts is opening December 1st, 2023 at the base of Winter Park Ski Resort. What do we do: we serve warm fresh made mini-donuts out of our food trailer (being built as I type) permanently parked right outside Balcony House. For the last 1.5years I've been working toward getting our contract with the Ski Resort and now that we have approval we have ~1 month to launch. I've partnered with EVG Hospitality who is helping me make this vision a reality. I think I forgot to mention my favorite part. Our donuts, which are made on demand by our semi-automated machine will, instead of dropping donuts in a basket, hand off the donuts to our custom miniature ski lift where the donuts will take a ride two at a time before being served. At our mini donut oasis, we understand the art of indulgence. Our donuts, small in size but immense in taste, are handcrafted with passion and creativity. Picture yourself savoring a warm, perfectly sugared donut as you watch the snowflakes fall gently around you. It's not just a treat; it's a moment of blissful escape, a mini adventure in every bite.
