About Chris Catchpole

I have recently retired from full time employment and now looking for part-time/temporary roles in the Global Mobility arena. The vast majority of my working life has been involved in the business of Relocation and Mobility, starting off at Black Horse Relocation some 25 years ago and I have remained in this arena ever since. The most formative roles I have had include, building an in-house ‘shared service’ relocation function for SmithKline Beecham, which encompassed ownership and implementation of all policies, a highlight being the management of a group move involving over 800 families. I have also had the opportunity to work overseas, moving to New York to open a new branch for Sterling Relocation. Most recently have been able to develop my role with Santa Fe from Account Management to also become part of their Consultancy Services function. This, on one level, offers policy benchmarking and development with cost analysis projects, to developing tools enabling companies to more pro-actively manage their assignee population, aligning with the wider company strategy.
