About Chris Cole

I am a motivated and driven individual dedicated to supporting and empowering vulnerable adults. My personal experience of recovery gives me an insight into the issues faced by substance misusers and I also use my past in training sessions and through public speaking to develop other professionals understanding of recovery and substance misuse. I have a logical and structured approach to work and manage my time effectively ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standard. I pride myself on building positive relationships with stakeholders and developing pathways between services. As well as people in recovery I have worked extensively with people living with or affected by HIV, offenders in the criminal justice system and the LGBT community. I am committed to empowering young people and vulnerable adults to achieve their full potential. Over the past few years I have really enjoyed designing/delivering my own group work/training packages for both professionals and service users. With all my skills that I have gained over the years including my personal experience of recovery I am now able to design, develop, deliver, create facilitators guide, create work sheets and create power point presentations as a visual aid for all group work and training packages that I create. I have a great sense of achievement from doing this and helping individuals learn new things.
