About Chris Morrell

I am a proud graduate of UCLA’s Theatre, Film and Television school with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre (focus on acting), and also have extensive experience in both software and entertainment industries. I have spent the last 12 years employed as an actor while balancing multiple freelance positions including my most recent work as a Camera Operator and Production Assistant for 2K Mo-Cap, and am seeking to find meaningful full-time employment where I can fully utilize my skills and experience. During my many years of experience as an actor, casting director, and production assistant, I have gained a comprehensive knowledge of the duties and required skills sets of every role on an active set, and thoroughly enjoy the different challenges that arise with each role. I worked with numerous casting directors in a freelance capacity, including Nancy Hayes, Beau Bonneau, Kristen Beck, and Gregg Cohen, and competently managed asset creation and delivery while creating a safe and accommodating space for auditioning actors. I also co-founded Maximum Flavor Media and have worked as an on-set talent coach. I have over 10 years of customer service and client relations experience from my time managing the SF branch of Casting Networks, Inc, providing support and managing sales with customers and software clients, as well as with organizations like Premiere Props (Sales Lister / Database Manager) and Activision Inc (External Test Coordinator / QA). I also have years of experience as a Standardized Patient for multiple institutions including UCSF, Stanford, and Dominican University, in both a training capacity and as an evaluator working directly with medical students to develop clinical skills and communication tools to cultivate relationships. Recently, I worked with Myelin HealthCare, developing an large language model AI app for chronic care patients and simulating care scenarios with real RNs. My background reflects increasing levels of responsibility in varying situations, both in a corporate context and as a freelancer. In addition to being flexible and easily adaptable to new environments, I am a team player with strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities. I am proficient with technology and can quickly learn to operate new software platforms, and am keen to learn and take on new responsibilities in furtherance of organizations whose goals and quality of work I believe in.
