Strong generalist HR director, incorporating; recruiting and talent resourcing, staff development, ER, management and leadeship development, training and development, HR admin procedures, benefits and rewards, culture and change management. Strategic thinker able to align plans to complemnt corporate strategic aim and objectives. People focussed HR function aimed at all times towards identifying and maximising staff potential. Influential manager working with all staff populations to ensure achievement of personal, team and group goals. Experienced premises manager, lead on H&S, building management, property development. Currently leading on identification of new head office propoerty, working sith staff and third parties to ensure best matches evolcing needs of staff. Skilled IT manager, responsible for introducing integrated unitary provision, whilst maximising savings potential. My general philosophy is that life is simply a series of challenges to be met and overcome. I also like what Ben Stein once said: “The first step to getting the things you want out of life is this: Decide what you want”! When not at work, you will normally find me pursuing one of the many sports that I enjoy, or possibly writing another of my children’s stories.
