Hi, 39 year old with a 6 year old son, I've spent much of my working life progressing in the warehouse and distribution field in various markets, food predominantly but also none perishables. starting as a picker, goods inwards, bulk pick and pick bay replenishment, despatch, load organising/marshalling and FLT/ped op vehicle loading then moving into stock control. Previous success story in stock control, engineering and installing a solution for material and finished product stock accuracy this consisted of a scan station for finished pallets to create a record of how many pallets have come from the factory into the warehouse this involved a new workstation, pc, user logins, network connection, development of a system of scanning pallets, training and an SOP for supply chain admin on how to use the data and some what to do if scenarios. this solution significantly improved stock accuracy. this solution was also modernised and made part of the new ERP system installation. I am a learner SQL query writer/developer, I currently manage a handful of SQL reports on slow moving stock and general stock position for senior management and sales. I am in the process of developing an SQL stock tool that will be run to make suggestions on stock movements and purchases. my role currently moves around stock checks on the 3pl warehouses, working with management to maintain/improve stock accuracy, I've resolved a couple of issues around stock security and service to customers in the supply chain. I also support on container imports, reporting on landed costs, and review/sign of invoices for storage and transport raising any discrepancies
