About Chris Solt

As the Executive Director of the Fair Trade Federation (FTF), I have been directly involved in the fair trade movement for over 20 years, working to promote and advance its principles, mission, and vision. I have a Master's of Organizational Leadership, a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management, and a Training Certificate from the American Society for Training and Development. I manage the strategic, administrative, and programmatic aspects of the FTF, as well as research, develop, and implement comprehensive educational programs for our members. I also serve as a Board Member of the World Fair Trade Organization (WFTO), where I collaborate with fair trade professionals from all over the world. I have extensive experience in strategic partnership cultivation and management, stakeholder engagement, executive coaching and mentorship, project management, supply chain analysis, financial planning and analysis, board management and development, brand management and promotion, learning program management, instructional design, sales strategies and selling skills, professional conference design and facilitation, public speaking, change management, program management, strategic planning, and recruiting. I am passionate, dedicated, and motivated to make a positive impact in the world through fair trade.
