About Chris Theron

I am a passionate and driven hard worker who thrives working with people. I am drawn to people and to interesting conversations. The job of a counsellor is much like rowing the Orange River, one moment you are progressing and everything seems fine, the next the wind picks up and steers you into the bushes. Now left with two options, keep paddling against the wind or wait it out in the bushes. I believe in getting out of the boat, swimming and dragging the boat to a safe destination to reevaluate the plan. This is how I handle life. When I encounter a problem, I throw away the box and start swimming.(Just like Dory) I heard a quote from Albert Einstein that said," I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious." And that is how I would describe myself. Always wanting to know why things are the way they are, wanting to just know. So learning new skills and developing new traits is the only way in developing oneself.
