About Chris Vang

Every person carries a story, a spiritual journey unfolding step by step. My calling is to meet people where they are, walk with them through questions and milestones, and help them find clarity and confidence as they follow Jesus. At First Naples I serve as the Next Steps Coordinator, helping people move from neighbor to multiplier. I lead in areas of connection, membership, and discipleship by guiding guests, new believers, and members toward deeper engagement. Whether that looks like welcoming someone new, following up on a baptism request, or sitting down for a membership conversation, I count it a privilege to be part of that movement toward transformation. My background blends more than 15 years of ministry leadership with operational experience in the business world. I have led teams, built systems, and navigated complex environments with a heart to serve, shepherd, and equip. What excites me about this role is the overlap of systems and soul, where structure supports formation and where every name in a database represents a person God is calling into something deeper. My aim is simple: to help people take their next step in the way of Jesus, and to do it with integrity, clarity, and compassion.
