Background

About Christian Andersson

After having created my first website for a hobby project of mine back in 2006, I quickly came to realize my passion for programming and web development in particular. I proceeded in taking my b.Sc degree in computer engineering during which time I also did volunteering and freelancing for various projects.Today, I am a senior front-end developer at Axis Communications AB in Lund, Sweden.I love JavaScript and related frameworks; especially React.js. It's simple yet complex, and has unlocked possibilities in creating User Interfaces that were previously difficult and very time-consuming. It's a powerful tool that I believe anyone can learn, which is why I often find myself spending an inordinate amount of time answering related questions on Stack Overflow. I have submitted over 400 answers to questions and rank among the top-10 for that category.I never stop learning new, exciting stuff! The recent pandemic allowed me to take remote classes in user experience design (UX), which I find very interesting and useful knowledge to have as a developer. Understanding the why, where and when behind every element of an User Interface is facinating! My ultimate goal and motivation as a developer is to be inspiring, creative and innovative and to help others discover the beauty of web development. I set the bar high and strive for quality and detail. I also wish to write React/JavaScript articles on Medium some day, when time allows. If you share my passion, I'd love to geek out on web development stuff over some Swedish fika. Don't hesitate to reach out!Specialities: React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node, SQL, php, HTML/CSS.
