About Christine Burghoff

Being educated and trained as an attorney in estate planning has given me a unique perspective in helping individuals and families develop their charitable course. I gained valuable experience in the legal and financial services industry working with people who were facing their financial concerns and successes and deciding how to best take of themselves and their families. Joining the charitable sector 20 years ago has allowed me the privilege to expand my work with individuals to include fulfilling another passion in their lives."Doing good" by giving of themselves and their good fortune to people and causes they are passionate about. My role for nonprofits has been to raise the awareness of the organization and it’s mission by building support. At the Community Foundation I have played a lead role in growing the organization with over $200M of new fund business. By working with business owners, private foundations, families, individuals and their professional advisors together we have created the opportunity for tax deductible gifts and charitable giving funds making a difference in our community and in the donor’s lives.
