About Christine Travis

As the Director of Business Development at Green Our Planet, I lead strategic business development planning and execution for our company, which aims to improve student outcomes, environmental literacy, and community engagement through experiential learning. With a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Teaching from Indiana University Bloomington and over five years of experience as a teacher and a teacher trainer, I have a strong passion and knowledge for creating and delivering impactful and innovative educational programs. I am also currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, where I am developing my skills in team collaboration, process improvement, and data analysis. In my previous roles at Green Our Planet, I managed the operations, partnerships, and curriculum development of the school garden program, and supported the professional development of hundreds of teachers across the country. I am proud to be part of a mission-driven organization that empowers students, teachers, and communities to create positive change for themselves and the planet.
