About Christopher Ho-Won Woo

My passion is video games and technology and hope to continue my career working in these industries. Down the road, I hope to eventually work in brand management or game production but I'm interested in all aspects of marketing within the field. In my current role as Senior International Product Manager, I work as part of the Ubisoft International Brand Strategy (IBS) team. The IBS team has a unique role within Ubisoft as they work closely with the US Brand Marketing, EMEA Brand Marketing, and Game Development teams. It's our responsibility to align the brand and messaging across these three distinct areas with the ability to influence marketing and development. Despite the name of my role (Product Manager) my responsibilities are mixed with those of a Brand Manager with elements of traditional product management rolled in. Due to the projects our team in San Francisco has worked on, I have extensive experience dealing with 3rd party licenses, both in the context of partnerships as well as games focused on 3rd party IPs, and music licensing in particular.
