I love bringing the advantages of modern technology to our fractured healthcare system. My endeavors are always life-saving or life-enhancing with millions of patients across the world benefiting. I am a passionate, data-oriented leader with extensive experience across all healthcare verticals. As a technologist, I learned to program when I was in high school, and my science background provides a common ground for me to collaborate with engineering. I provide feedback to many early-stage entrepreneurs in healthcare, and if you DM me, I'd be happy to talk. I do many expert interviews and have a broad view of the market. As an entrepreneur/founder at MDsave and Tidepool Labs, I work with product, design, and engineering to help deliver software platforms that customers needed. My teams work agile and are constantly seeking product-market fit, and expansion markets through a quantitative process. Recently I have been working full-time with SaaS products that benefit- the back-office processes for patient and staff safety with Surglogs- artificial intelligence to decentralize echocardiography at Caption Health- the market-leading platform for bundled payment and consumer/employer engagement at MDsave Additionally, I have advised some interesting new startups on go to market- Remote patient monitoring with Vital Connect- Obesity management with Intellihealth- Sinus disease with Intersect ENT- Pediatric behavioral health with LEVL. I "grew up" in healthcare in the cardiac surgery space by bringing minimally invasive tools to surgeons. I realized that it is a true partnership between industry and clinician. My inspiration for digital health was launching one of the first remote patient monitoring platforms that combined an implantable (pacemaker, ICD) device and a Bluetooth cuff and scale while I was leading the top-performing team at Boston Scientific.
