About Christopher McDonald

Founded in 2009, ASER, provides enhanced learning platforms and unique programs as an inherent part of the educational process. With our global (Englishwithnative, Iran) and domestic partners, we design for individual students, schools, and language/learning centers pathways towards advantageous access to North American (Canada and the United States) universities and scholarship opportunities. Michael Horn wrote the following article in Forbes magazine about the Olympia Schools in 2014: Together, Michael and I hosted a global symposium entitled "Blended Learning, Innovation, and the Future of Education"​ on December 5, 2015, in Hanoi, in conjunction with the Ministry of Education and Training. Michael provided a write up and video of our progress Served as Head of Schools for a 1st through 12th grade independent school of 750 students in Hanoi, Vietnam, from 2014 to 2016. We launched initial dual diploma programs beginning in 2015 for students, the first school in Vietnam to provide such options (Canadian and American diplomas). After serving as Director of Academics for a year at Stanstead College, Quebec, Canada, 2016-2019, I developed year-long authentic student-driven service learning projects as Director of International Affairs. Students travelled to Vietnam and Cambodia to bring these projects to fruition with partners in Asia. Most recently, worked as Head of School with Maine Central Institute beginning in 2019 until November, 2021, where I designed, developed, and grew on-line partnership presence from 1 school and 18 students to 17 schools worldwide with over 150 students and a net revenue of 500k; continued transitionally with MCI until the end of June, 2022.
