I am an ICAEW Chartered Accountant, specializing in internal and external audit work, most notably in the NHS, Local and Central Government and also the application of IFRS. I am also experienced in investigation and professional disciplinary/audit regulation work. My key skills include: • Specialist technical knowledge of the disclosure and accounting requirements of the Code of Practice on Local Government Accounting, NHS Trust Manual for Accounts, UK GAAP and IFRS Accounting Standards, International Auditing Standards, the ICAEW Code of Ethics and Audit Regulations gained from positions with the NAO, Audit Commission, Financial Reporting Council, ICAEW and KPMG. • ICAEW Certificate in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and subsequently completed IFRS restatement projects at NHS bodies. • Reliable, well organised and able to achieve objectives using a systematic and methodical approach in all types of work. • Managing key deliverables simultaneously, working independently or supervising staff as required. • Producing high quality reports on audit findings, investigation cases and project work.
