Background
About Chuck Kukla
We work with development organizations using new tools to address difficult and complex product development issues. Our perspective: Product success depends on the customer gaining benefit in daily work. Our research shows that understanding the work more explicitly is vital. We use well established techniques to produce topological maps of the work in context. The enriched view of the situation helps detect and avoid typically unseen factors that cause problems. We help teams to understand the structure, connections and rules that surround the work - to support design of the UI and validate the value proposition. Our process quickly identifies areas of uncertainty, encourages thrifty communication, and creates a climate for learning and adaptation. With practice, the capability of the development team to see and evaluate work in context is increased.
