Background

About Ciaran McCluskey

As the State Service Delivery Manager at MEGT for Queensland and NSW, a not-for-profit organisation that supports employers, apprentices, trainees, job seekers, and students, I oversee the delivery of quality services and outcomes across multiple states. I have extensive experience in the apprenticeship & traineeship lifecycle, where I worked as a Field Officer, providing cultural awareness to employers and working with local communities to reduce disadvantage and inequity. My core competencies include mentoring, recruiting, and business development. Prior to joining MEGT, I held various roles at yourtown, a charity that offers services for young people to find jobs, learn skills, and live safer, happier lives. I was a Senior Job Placement Coach, a Recruitment Consultant, and an Employment Solutions Team Leader, where I helped young people overcome barriers to employment, connected them with suitable opportunities, and supported them throughout their journey. I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team. I have strong skills in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving.
