About Cielene Moniz

I am currently working as a Senior Recruitment Consultant for OutsourceHR, where I am able to utilize my education and experience in the human resources industry. I am currently a Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR), having recently completed the certification with the Association of Professional Recruiters of Canada (APRC). I am a CPHR (Chartered Professional in Human Resources) candidate. I graduated with honors of the highest distinction from Camosun College in the Business Administration Post Degree Diploma program for Human Resource Management and Leadership with a 9.0 GPA. I graduated in the top 20% of my class from the University of Victoria with a bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, majoring in Psychology. I was awarded the Brian McWha Memorial Award from Camosun College - achieved by students with the highest GPA in any School of Business program. My work experience has demonstrated to me repeatedly that I am passionate about helping people. This presents itself as prioritizing client service and building lasting relationships in order to achieve high quality results. I am intrinsically motivated to create and maintain a healthy work environment where everyone feels valued in their position and strongly connected to their work. Outside of work, I love being active outdoors. I am an avid runner and I enjoy participating in local half marathons on Vancouver Island. I also enjoy hiking, group fitness classes, and playing team sports. I am very interested in promoting mental health and well-being projects within organizations as my career develops. My goal is to be able to bring to life my passion for helping people succeed within their own roles and thrive within an organization that supports them.
