I am a passionate and dedicated Second Officer with 9 years of seagoing experience, primarily on Ro-Ro Passenger (RoPax) vessels. Currently working with Stena Line, I take great pride in my role and truly enjoy the responsibilities and challenges that come with ensuring the safe and efficient operation of every voyage. Throughout my career, I’ve sailed across multiple European navigation zones, gaining valuable experience in diverse maritime environments and adapting to different traffic conditions, weather challenges, and port operations. My key duties include safe navigation, voyage planning, bridge watchkeeping, and ensuring compliance with ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, and STCW regulations. I am also actively involved in cargo operations, vessel stability monitoring, and the execution of safety drills and emergency procedures. Working under pressure, maintaining situational awareness in busy shipping lanes, and contributing to a professional bridge team are part of my daily routine. I strongly believe in continuous improvement, teamwork, and taking responsibility both for my tasks and for supporting the safety culture on board. I’m passionate about what I do and committed to growing within the deck department. My long-term goal is to take on more senior roles and continue contributing to safe, reliable, and high-standard maritime operations.
