About Cj Renaud

In constant pursuit of fair and equitable access to opportunities for all. I have spent the majority of my professional career proudly in the service of others. I successfully navigated 20+ years as an Aurora Police Officer. I was assigned to the Patrol Unit, Vice and Narcotics Unit, Recruiting, Background Investigations, and School Resource Officer Unit. I was instrumental in implementing programs which increased recruitment and retention of police hires, and decreased school to prison pipelines. Many of my programs continue to thrive even after my retirement. Upon departure from Law Enforcement, I became the first Business and Community Partnership Administrator for Greeley-Evans Schools District 6. I was responsible for growing an internship program with only 11 positions in its infancy to over 175 robust educational workplace experiences. Implemented and maintained the first and only school district sponsored youth registered apprenticeship. I have built strategic and prosperous partnerships with organizations such as Vestas Wind Blades, Banner Health, UC Health, Aims Community College, and Otter Cares foundation. I have recently been named the Director of Business Partnerships for CareerWise Colorado. My work will support the mission and vision of CareerWise as we further engage students and business organizations to create apprenticeships in the state of Colorado. I have participated in Leadership Northern Colorado. I currently hold positions on the following boards: Success Foundation serving Greeley-Evans District 6, GOAL Academy BOD, and most recently accepted appointment to the Weld Trust Educational Advisory board. I am a proud graduate of the University of Northern Colorado. I received a bachelors degree in Kinesiology with a sociological emphasis. I attended University of Phoenix for my Masters in Education.
