About Clara Guasch

I thrive on helping ideas become realities, listening to all stakeholders and guiding multidisciplinary teams to harmonize views and achieve individual and shared goals. With an MA in Linguistics from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and an MA in Computational Linguistics from the University of Essex, I worked in Berlin as a computational linguist and PM for the German artificial intelligence technology center DFKI. Since then, I’ve focused my career on management and innovation across various fields. My experience spans over 25 years, leading research and business projects in social entities, technology centers and SMEs. I’ve also led my own consultancy on Content Strategy (created at a time where CS was still highly unknown in Europe) and Cocorointim SL, a pioneering and innovative company in the menstrual pants sector which I co-founded. I've managed teams with various professional backgrounds and cultures, including computer science, social science, textile science, linguistics, education, UX design, finance, corporate communication, social work and more. I am currently Senior Research Coordinator of the Computational Social Sciences and Humanities area at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center.
