Clare Murray is a professional, skilled and experienced Spanish to English translator, proofreader and editor of academic and scientific texts. She is Director and Founder of ME Language Solutions, a Granada-based company providing fast, high-quality translation solutions for the academic and research community. Clare, a native English speaker, is passionate about providing a personal and first-class service, enabling her clients to focus on what's important for their research or business. Having emigrated from Scotland to Spain in 2012, she brings to the table her own understanding of the subtleties and nuances of language and cultural differences, and an appreciation of the importance of maintaining translation integrity. Since launching her business in 2021, Clare has translated articles for publication in Behavioral Sciences Journal, The Journal of Clinical Medicine, Art Documentation: Journal of the Art Libraries Society of North America, The International Journal of Environmental Research, Technological Forecasting and Change, Frontiers in Psychology and ESPES. The Slovak Journal of Aesthetics, to name but a few. She is also a qualified HR professional with many years' experience specialising in organisational culture and development, particularly within the not-for-profit sector. This award-winning expertise, along with her strong business acumen, makes a significant contribution to the strategic, operational and administrative aspects of managing ME Language Solutions. After qualifying as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language and moving to Granada, Clare spent nine years working in the private education sector before embarking on her career as a translator and entrepreneur. As a business owner, Clare believes in the importance of values such as equality, openness, collaboration and social responsibility. She has a keen interest in making sure her business endeavours have a positive impact on the local social economy.
