I am a second-year student at Algonquin College in the DSW program. I have a PSW certificate and I have worked as a PSW for 6 years in many different settings. I worked in retirement homes, long term care, and I have worked in assisted living as well as different shelters. I want to gain work experience in my field of DSW so that I can help people who have various conditions and also assist people with Developmental Disabilities. My career goal is to gain experience and grow in this career by learning new things and becoming an experienced DSW. I am a caring and compassionate person who is dedicated to helping individuals in living their happiest, and healthiest lives.
