I manage the Kent Trading Standards Complex Investigations team. The team is made up of nine Trading Standards Officers, two Victim Safeguarding Officers and two Accredited Financial Investigators. Our main objective is to target persistent or serious offenders whether they are based in Kent or further afield. We investigate matters which are criminal or civil in nature in line with a very wide legislative framework. The team investigate any offending that is part of the Trading Standards remit from Counterfeiters and Doorstep Criminals to illegal puppy importers and rogue letting agents.
