Als projectleider gezondheid statushouders zet ik mij in voor een goede integratie van statushouders. Ik adviseer en geef input aan gemeenten hoe zij hun beleid op gezondheid van statushouders kunnen vertalen naar passende activiteiten. Te denken valt aan scholing rond cultuursensitief werken, voorlichting aan statushouders, beleid rond zwemonderwijs of inspraak organiseren van statushouders op gemeentelijk beleid. Mijn tweede functie is docent NT2. Ik werk bij TopTaal en combineer dit dus met mijn werk bij de GGD. Zo zet ik mij ook in deze functie in voor statushouders, nu gericht op het leren van Nederlands.
