About Cody Arceneaux

Dedicated and versatile professional with over six years of experience in education and almost three years of experience in accident reconstruction. Currently serving as a full-time Physics teacher (including AP and Honors) at St. Joseph's Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where I have updated curriculum for three levels of physics classes to align with NGSS and AP College Board standards. Additionally, I serve as a FIRST Robotics Coach and moderate a coding club for the school wherein I assist in teaching students programming and construction of robots. In the realm of accident reconstruction, I applied principles of physics and engineering to meticulously analyze and reconstruct vehicle accidents, utilizing advanced techniques such as photography, surveying, 3D scanning, and drone photography. I also conducted thorough vehicle inspections, created detailed CAD diagrams, and prepared comprehensive reports for civil and criminal litigation. In graduate school, I engaged students in lab activities, operated telescopes at Kennon Observatory, and conducted outreach activities to share the wonders of astronomy with the public. I am a committed professional with a passion for both the intricacies of physics and solving analytical challenges.
