Thank you for visiting my LinkedIn profile! During the last 10-15 years I have done what I like most: offering research and advise on sustainability issues for both governmental and (organised) business clients. Of course this also includes presentations in both national and international arena's. I have a wide and thorough network in this field since my major tasks were to acquire and execute this kind of projects. I am strongly convinced of the necessity for making a transition to a more sustainable world. Therefore my focus lies in helping organizations, in particular governmental and business organisations in their search for their strategic contribution to these societal challenges. I strongly believe that sustainability adds value to every organization. I am sensitive, social and enthusiastic. I am a teamplayer and like to inspire others and become inspired by others. Furthermore I like to investigate the underlying values of projects and organisations. Currently I work for Afvalfonds Verpakkingen as a senior business analyst in the interesting field of packaging waste. Major tasks- Program manager of the Dutch Monitor Packaging and Packaging Waste and related research projects - Project manager of differentiated packaging fees - Data analyses to advise municipalities, waste companies and government As the owner of BertensProject I also try (to keep some room) to support in research projects or advice in the wide field of sustainability (see projects). Specialties: Issues I have worked on most recently, concern eco innovations, energy saving, waste issues, sustainable energy, sustainable enterpreneurship (particularly SMEs), transparancy issues (CSR), sustainable transport and ethnic enterpreneurship and diversity issues.
