About Colleen McCarthy

As a recent International Business graduate with a passion of communicating across cultures and global markets, I am looking to start a career where I can use my international experience and grow my business knowledge. Before college, I had a desire to learn about the world. In the fourth grade, I memorized every U.S. state capital and loved getting to research about different states for school projects. As I grew older, my desire to learn about the world around me only deepened, and I entered college as an International Business major to gain experience on how to operate in an increasingly globalized world. My junior year, I studied abroad in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, Spain. I learned how to navigate in a different cultural setting and business environment, which equipped me with the perspective needed to work in a global setting. Throughout my academic journey, I have experienced real-life international business projects and case works in which I developed a strong foundation in cross-cultural communication, international marketing, and international management. As I begin my career, I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to contribute to a team devoted to global growth and cross-cultural collaboration.
