My time as a retail merchandiser allowed me to sharpen my people-skills, while developing my already keen-eye for detail in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. It kept my colleagues and I consistently engaged, and allowed us to develop as a team, gaining trust for each other's abilities. I valued my managers for throwing me in at the deep end, and allowing me to sharpen my teeth in a way that allows for the truest learning. This all led to me being responsible for the merchandising of the company's flagship South London store. Although retail was never my end goal, I find great value in the experiences I had while I was there. At PlanetPlay, the challenges continued. I joined the team with little corporate experience, but the faith placed in me by the team has been received gratefully as I successfully navigated my way through my onboarding period. I built our CRM from the ground up and remain responsible for its maintenance. Supporting the teams internal operations is a core part of my role, as well as managing relationships with games studios. I play a significant role in activating with all of our partner studios, as well as supporting the sales team with outreach and networking. As a purpose-driven individual with a background in Physics, I always sought a job that challenged me intellectually, while also providing a sense of genuine purpose. I have found this at PlanetPlay.
