About Conor Martin

As a Bacherlor of Arts Graduate from Maynooth University I wanted to continue on my educational and historical career so I am now currently a Irish History Masters Student at Maynooth University. This course has allowed me to develop and perfect my historical research skills. One of my proudest achievements to date is completing my thesis 'James Ussher and David Rothe two historical church narratives'. I am eagerly awaiting my results and look forward to persuing my passion of history. During my role as a Receptionist I acquired great team work and organisational skills through working closely with my colleagues, and I look forward to applying these skills in my future career. As a tour guide of St. Patricks Chapel I excelled my leadership skills by constantly ensuring the public were informed with the correct history of the beautuful chapel while also making sure I was on hand to answer any queries. Personally I found this deeply rewarding to be able to share my historical passion with a wide diversity of people.
