About Corentin Rousseau
As citizen and ecologist, I am concerned about numerous environmental issues (e.g. biodiversity loss, climate change, ecosystems degradation). To mitigate them, three essential actions need to be implemented according to me- Education and awareness actions about environmental issues - Put pressure on governments and industry - Scientific research Since ten years, to apply these actions, I am taking part in different projects that allowed me to develop many skills- During my volunteer positions and present job, I gained a large experience in team management and in awareness actions about environmental issues. These positions boosted also my skills for successful projects management: spirit of compromise, team player, management, good speaker, marketing, ability to summarize easily, critical mind- Moreover, through my biology classes at university, internships and jobs, I acquired an excellent knowledge in ecology, biodiversity, sustainable development and remote sensing; with specialisations in ornithology, mammalogy, conservation issues and field research.
