Cormac O’Rourke joined Goodbody Corporate Finance in 2003 having previously worked as European Head of Project Finance at KBC Bank NV and Investment Director of ESB International. Cormac has worked in Investment Banking for over 30 years, covering energy, infrastructure, aircraft finance and general banking. His international experience includes transactions in UK, US, Western & Eastern Europe. In Ireland, Cormac has advised on a wide range of transactions - including disposals, acquisitions, strategic advice, transaction structuring and banking competitions for Renewable Energy, Infrastructure and Semi-State companies Cormac started his career as a mechanical engineer, specialising in steam turbines, gas turbines and efficiency studies. Cormac was the Chair of TII (Transport Infrastructure Ireland), for 7 years until 2021. He was previously chair of the National Roads Authority and Railway Procurement Agency prior to their merger to form TII. Cormac was appointed Chair of the Land Development Agency in December 2021.
